Duchesne House hosts Summer Network Service Programs

This summer, Duchesne House hosted two groups of Sacred Heart students from around the country.  Our first was one we put together on the theme of Race, Poverty and Culture.  Similar to what we've offered to our student visitors, we included opportunities to visit the Whitney Plantation, Studio Be and the Musee de f.p.c. or the Musdeum of the Free People of Color.  Our second group, Healthy Waters, also included students from Sacred Heart schools around the Network, learning about the environment and the importance of water in a coastal state such as Louisianna.  You can read more about this on our BLOG.
