Saturday afternoons at Sojourner Truth Neighborhood Center provided an opportuniy for local families to learn about researching thier family histories with a variet of presenters:

Saturday, October 27, 2018: Opening Symposium with Greg Osborn,  New Orleans Public Library Associate and geneaology researcher, and   Kysha Brown Robinson,a synergizer and principal of Compositions Consulting

Saturday, November 1, 2018: How to do Ancestry Research with  geneaologist, historian and activist,  Antoinette Harrell 

Saturday,  November 10, 2018: Collecting Family Histories with children's author, Freddi Evans,  and Jen Virty , fact investigator for NOLA Investigates

Saturday, December 1, 2018: Archiving Family Data led by  researcher/curator Gaynelle  "Mammy" Brady

Saturday, January 12, 2019: Closing Celebration with  genealogist/historian Jari Honora
